PromptDJ NS-9000 is a specialized local desktop engine. To keep the software as a one-time purchase with zero subscription fees, it runs entirely on your private connection to Google's Gemini API. Your API key is encrypted in your Windows system keychain — never stored in plaintext.

How to get your Free Gemini API Key:

1. Navigate to Google AI Studio and sign in with your Google account.
2. Click the blue Create API Key button in the left sidebar.
3. Select your Google Cloud project (or let it generate a new one automatically).
4. Copy your key. Paste it directly into PromptDJ NS-9000 on your first launch!
