You don't learn AI. You become the architect.

It started as notes to myself.

In 2025 I set out to build a Shopify store with AI doing the actual work. Not a demo, not a toy — the real storefront a real business would have to run on, with real money moving through it. I kept notes because I kept forgetting what worked: which prompt shape held up under pressure, which model quit halfway through a refactor, which “best practice” turned out to be somebody’s guess wearing a suit.

The notes got long. Then they got useful. Then people started asking for them.

That is the entire origin. Nobody set out to build an academy. One person needed a map, went looking, found that nobody had drawn one, and started drawing. Every class here is a piece of that map — written after the thing shipped, never before.

The territory keeps moving.

A guide written in 2025 is archaeology by 2026. The models changed names and changed hands. Prices fell by an order of magnitude and then restructured entirely. Tools that were the obvious answer in the spring were replaced twice by the fall.

Most publishers handle this by quietly deleting the old page and letting the new one pretend it was always right. This academy keeps both, dated, sitting next to each other. You get the direction of travel, not just today’s snapshot — and you get to see which confident predictions aged badly. Including mine.

The class names lie a little. Nobody finishes a Claude Code masterclass and "knows Claude." What happens is smaller and bigger: you stop renting cognition and start architecting it. You decide what the system should do. The model figures out how.

This is the only useful skill in 2026. It does not have a certificate. It is not measured in tokens. It looks like a person who can read a stack of model release notes, design a workflow, and ship the workflow by Friday.

The uncomfortable half: architects are accountable. When the model is wrong and the code ships anyway, that is not the model’s failure. Nobody is coming to review your work. That job stayed human, and it got harder, because now the output arrives faster than you can read it.

We add. We don't replace.

The Cursor onramp from October 2025 still ships in this academy alongside the Cursor 3 Masterclass from May 2026. The old class isn't wrong. It's the soil the new one grew from.

Every new version of every tool spawns a new class. The old class stays where it is, dated, in context. You can read them in order and watch the territory move under your feet. That’s the point.

It also keeps the academy honest. A curriculum that only ever shows its current opinion can quietly rewrite its own history. One that keeps the old classes standing has to live with what it said in October.

Sovereignty over convenience.

If a workflow only works because someone else's API key works, that workflow is rented. The Sovereign Stack lane exists because at some point the bill comes due, the model gets deprecated, the policy changes, or the inference provider goes down for 14 hours on a Tuesday.

Local first when you can. Hybrid when you can’t. Cloud last and only with a wallet you can close. The aim is not to be cheap. The aim is to be structurally uninterruptable.

This is not ideology, it is arithmetic. Every dependency is a vote you hand to somebody else about whether you work tomorrow. Some of those votes are worth casting. You should just know how many you have cast, and be able to name what happens when each one goes the wrong way.

Ship the thing. Not the deck about the thing.

Every Mastery-stage class on this hub ends in a forensic record of what got built. Not a roadmap. Not a slide. A live URL with the model's exact word choices, the cost math, the failure modes, and the time it took.

This is the part nobody else publishes. Decks compress the work into a story that flatters the storyteller. The forensic record is the opposite. It shows where the thing broke, how the thing was held together, and what the thing actually does in production. That’s the only honest deliverable.

Which means the failures ship too. The classes here name the prompts that did not work, the runs that burned budget for nothing, and the times the model produced something confident and wrong. A record with no failures in it is not a record. It is marketing with timestamps.

The classroom is free. The work is yours.

Every class on this hub stays free, forever. There is no paywall, no membership, no certificate. The academy exists because the alternative — being the only solo founder in your industry with this material — is lonelier than running it as a one-person publishing house.

If a class helps you ship one thing, you owe nothing. If a class helps you build a business, send a customer to Design Delight Studio at some point. The trade is fair. The class is the trade.

There is no email gate because an email gate would make you the product. There is no certificate because a certificate would be a lie about what happened here — nobody accredited this. You either shipped something afterward or you didn’t, and you already know which.

As of July 2026 the split runs like this. Claude Opus authors the Liquid sections. Google Antigravity runs the build agents that write and deploy through the Shopify Admin API. Gemini generates the artwork. Claude Cowork drives the pipeline, writes the gate stack every agent has to clear, and verifies the result against the live theme. The architect sets the constraints and signs off. Hand-written lines of code: still zero.

The step worth stealing is the last one. On July 25, 2026 this academy went from 70 classes to 78 in a single day — seven built by agents, one built end to end by Cowork. Every page was then checked against the live theme instead of against the agent’s own summary of its work. That check caught four unsupported claims in a research brief, two diagrams whose shapes silently overlapped, a page shipped with empty SEO fields, and a banner with garbled code baked into the image. The agents were good. The verification is why the pages are correct.

Trusting an agent’s self-report is the single most expensive habit in this line of work. An agent that says “all checks passed” is reporting on the run it thinks it did. Go look at the thing itself.

This is Principle 04 applied to itself. The page you're reading is the forensic record of how the page you're reading was built. No deck. No slide. The receipts.

Radical transparency.

We do not monetize your attention. We do not sell your data. Because this page is hosted on Shopify, the server logs basic visitor counts. But we run zero third-party tracking pixels here — no GA4, no Meta pixel, no retargeting ads.

The web was built to share information, not to harvest users. This academy is a sanctuary from surveillance capitalism. We publish the work; you read it. That’s the whole transaction.

Transparency also means saying what is not known. Where a number could not be traced to a primary source, the class says Not verified and names what to check. That label appears on these pages more than once. Leaving it in is the point — a curriculum that never admits uncertainty is not being careful, it is being quiet about the gaps.
